Karnival DagangHalal is one of Malaysia’s largest Halal consumer food expo that begun in the year of 2023, which will be held first from the 29th of September to the 1st of October. The initiation came into fruition as a joint effort between two organisations that are seen specialised in the same food and beverage field.

We understand that participating in a large-scale food expo event can be challenging, which is why we provide additional furniture or equipment to all existing exhibitors at our food expo booths such as tables, chairs, or display cases, with additional costs.
Our aim is to ensure that all exhibitors have ample time to showcase their brand and products without worrying about logistical issues. Alternatively, the exhibitors are also encouraged to bring in their own additional items of furniture and equipment to be set up on the day of the event. We want each food expo booth to stand out and be highlighted in its unique way, ensuring that attendees have the opportunity to explore and appreciate the variety of offerings available.
When it comes to event planning, it is important to acknowledge all aspects of the event as things are often planned down to the inch. Accurate, to-scale floor plans enable exhibitors to have confidence that they can bring the vision of their food kiosks to life and provide an extraordinary experience to visitors and other exhibitors alike. As such, specific requests pertaining to our food expo booths are not permitted as we at Karnival DagangHalal have curated an ideal and strategic floor plan.
The placement of our floor map will allow visitors and attendees alike to tour around the food expo booths and allows for every booth to be viewed with equal exposure and foot traffic throughout the duration of the event. As a food expo organiser, we strive to promote and elevate the F&B industry in Malaysia and beyond.Â
As a leading organiser of halal products and services from various industries, we at Karnival DagangHalal have utilised 13 types of outreach methods divided into two parts, namely physical marketing and digital marketing to gain traction for our food expo booths.
The usage of physical marketing comprises of seven methods, including billboards, goodie bags, KOL/influencers, bunting, stage backdrops, radio, and TV. The billboards are placed in strategic locations to capture the attention of passersby. Goodie bags are distributed to attendees, containing promotional items such as flyers and discount vouchers. KOL/influencers on the other hand are engaged to promote the event on their social media platforms whilst the bunting is displayed in public areas to promote the event. And finally, the stage backdrop is used during the event to showcase sponsors' logos and messages and radio and TV ads are aired to reach a wider audience.
Moving away from physical marketing outlets, we have also deployed six digital marketing methods, including website marketing, social media marketing, video marketing, SMS/mobile marketing, paid search marketing, and email marketing. Website marketing involves optimizing the event website for search engines and promoting it through online ads whilst social media marketing involves creating engaging content and promoting it on social media platforms. In line with this, video marketing makes use of creating promotional videos for the event and as opposed to that, SMS/mobile marketing involves sending text messages to potential attendees. We also rely on paid search marketing which involves placing ads on search engines and email marketing which involves sending promotional emails to subscribers.
